Food & fitness for your consideration // Spice up your post-Holiday leftovers and keep the shopping anxiety at bay with Cranchiladas and Pom-ritas
Happy Thanksgiving to all! We here at Moxie Cycling wish you safe travels and hope you are able to spend the Holiday relaxing with your family.
We are sure nothing beats the family recipes that are successes year after year, so we won’t suggest a new dish to bring (too risky) but when you find yourself short on sleep and time Black Friday, we have a great way to use that leftover turkey!
From the blog of Pink Parsley we give you Turkey Cranchiladas!

Originally a Better Home and Gardens recipe, this dish uses cranberry sauce, all of that extra turkey, and your basic enchilada ingredients to switch up flavors from the hearty comfort food. Click here to get the full recipe ingredients and instruction.
And while you’re at it, Cranchiladas are the perfect reason to stir up a pitcher of post-shopping-marathon margaritas. Give yourself a healthy dose of antioxidants from pomegranate juice with this yummy festive Pomegranate Lime Margarita. Blogger of how sweet it is claims this is her FAVORITE cocktail concoction. Garnish with the pretty arils of a ripe pomegranate and a wedge of lime and you have an attractive mixer.
Did you know that the bar staple grenadine syrup is made from thickened and sweetened pomegranate juice? If you are in a fix and don’t have access to fresh pomegranate or POM juice, classic margarita mixer with a splash of grenadine will do.
Now that you have all your nibbles and sips covered, don’t forget to take advantage of the Moxie once-a-year sale!
Stay Sassy…
